How we source our data

Where our schedules and channel listings come from β€” and how we keep them honest and current.

Schedules & scores

Every fixture, kickoff time, live score and result comes from two independent sources, merged game by game:

Where both sources list the same game, we keep one record: ESPN's start time, clock and TV designation, and whichever source is further along (a final is never dragged back to β€œlive”). A scheduled refresher updates today's games every couple of minutes, the next two days every half hour and the rest of the fortnight several times a day. Every board shows when its data was last updated, and if a source fails we show the age of the last confirmed copy rather than an empty list.

League tables on soccer pages come from TheSportsDB and are refreshed at least daily; each table states when. Times are always shown in your device's local timezone, computed in your browser β€” we never guess your location and we don't track it. Team logos are fetched by our server and served from this site, so your browser never contacts a third-party image host.

Data status

How current each league is right now, straight from the refresher:

TV & streaming listings

β€œWhere to watch” information is editorial: we research the official broadcaster and streaming rights for each league in each country and stamp every entry with the season it applies to. Because broadcast rights change β€” sometimes mid-season β€” every listing links to the league's official β€œways to watch” page so you can confirm.

Our top leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, Premier League, Champions League, MLS, NASCAR) are verified for the 2026-27 season; other leagues carry the season stamp shown on their own pages, with a warning there when that season has ended.

For United States listings each game shows its own national carrier from ESPN's per-game broadcast data when it is published β€” the most current source β€” and falls back to the league-wide listing, visibly marked as such, until it is. When no national network carries a game, we show the teams' regional channels.
